I'm a Senior Software Engineer and Oracle DBA with 17 years of professional experience building and maintaining mission-critical systems. I hold a B.S. in Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology (2009), an active DoD Security Clearance, and certifications including Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) and CompTIA Security+.
I started my career as a GS-12 at Robins AFB with the Department of Defense, where I cut my teeth on Oracle databases and military systems. That foundation gave me deep expertise in Oracle 19c/12c/11g, RMAN backup and recovery, WebLogic application servers, and Fusion Middleware — the kind of enterprise stack that most people avoid and I genuinely enjoy working with.
Currently, I'm a Senior Software Engineer and Oracle DBA at ALAE Consultants on the RAMPOD Program, where I architect and maintain complex database systems alongside full-stack web development. I've gone from government service to the contractor side, and I bring that dual perspective to every project.
Outside of work, I'm all-in on AI-augmented development and iOS apps. I use tools like Claude Code daily — not as a crutch, but as a multiplier. It lets me move at startup speed while maintaining defense-grade quality. The result? Projects that used to take a year now ship in months.
